-H.O.P.E Speaks at Mind Your Own Business Event ……
LeicestHERday Trust and The Colleges-University of Leicester Network (CULN) are inviting students aged 14-21 to attend a FREE Mind Your Own Business Event. This event will take place on Wednesday 19th November 2008 from 10-3pm at Leicester College, Freemans Campus, Aylestone Road, Leicester. It is designed to unleash entrepreneurial spirit in students and to shape the business minds of the future! The event is an official part of 2008 Enterprise Week, which is celebrated throughout the world and this year’s theme is Global Entrepreneurship. Students will have the chance to listen to inspirational guest speakers’ share their secrets of success. Guest speaker Meena Kumari will be at the event to talk about being the director of her own business H.O.P.E Training & Consultancy which she started at the age of 24. She says: “I think enterprise week is a great way of learning what you can get involved in and what is out there. Setting up my own business was the best thing that I did and I believe that anyone can do it as long as you have passion and drive!
