Meena Kumari from H.O.P.E attended the Million Women Rise is a coalition of individual women and representatives from the Women’s Voluntary and Community Sector.
The first Million Women Rise demonstration in March 2008 saw 5000 women and children take to the streets of London to celebrate International Women’s Day .
It was the largest demonstration of women in UK history and the most diverse demonstration women have ever attended. The RALLY, speeches AND CELEBRATION was held at WATERLOO PLACE.
