H.O.P.E Tranining & Consultancy won a Prince's Trust Community Impact award today 17.11.09 at Nottingham Play House. -H.O.P.E trains over 600 in 2009!

H.O.P.E has trained over 600 professionals from January 2009 to November 2009 on forced marriages and honour based violence!  
This training has raised more awareness on these issues and allowed professionals to see the signs and know where to refer victims of domestic abuse.

 

-New Forced Marriages Guidelines Launched! 3.07.09

The Forced Marriage Unit has published a revised set of multi-agency practice guidelines for frontline professionals (such as teachers, police officers, social and health care professionals, housing officers) to help them to work more closely together and to better identify and protect children and adults at risk of forced marriage.
